KCBS Sanctioned BBQ Event
Truman football will be hosting its inaugural Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) sanctioned BBQ competition before its season-opening game against Lincoln University on September 8, 2012.
Bulldog BBQ & Blues: The Smoke at Stokes is a state championship BBQ event which includes an officially-sanctioned barbeque competition, live blues music, People's Choice tasting, and a tailgate party to celebrate the home opener. The event will take place on the Truman State University campus near Stokes Stadium.

All-Dog Football Reunion
Truman Football would like to invite ALL former Bulldogs to our 2nd Annual All-Dog Football Reunion on September 29, 2012 at Stokes Stadium to watch the Bulldogs take on Fort Hays State at 1:00 pm. We will be recognizing all Alumni during pregame, with additional focus on the 1982 and 1992 playoff teams. A football social will follow at the Dukum Inn.

This event is highly-requested when out visiting with our football alumni. It will be the perfect occasion to get a few buddies and make it back to Kirksville to reminisce and watch the current edition of Bulldogs compete. We put last year's together in July after our alumni golf outings. With even very little prior notice, more than 30 former 'Dogs were able to make the trip to Kirksville!
