Bulldogs Handle Blue Tigers In Home Tennis Finale

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The Truman Women's Tennis team breezed to a 9-0 victory over Lincoln (Mo.) University in what was the home finale for the Bulldogs this season. Both the men and women will play their make-up with Northwest Missouri on Wednesday but the matches have been shifted to the St. Joseph Tennis & Swim Club because of forecasted rain.

In doubles, Maggie Schutte and Kim Birenbaum won 8-4 at number one, Jessica Gennuso and Tess Severin took number two 8-5 and Kelsey Porter and Lauren Higgins won 8-2 in number three.

All six Bulldogs cruised to straight set wins in singles.

Truman improved to 5-8 overall and 2-8 in the conference.
