Wrestling (1-2)This Week: Tues., Nov. 18 – at Benedictine (Kan.) (7 p.m.;Atchinson, Kan.)Last Week: Lost 54-0 at University of Missouri The Bulldog Wrestling team returns to action quickly after their loss to sixth-ranked Missouri on Saturday night. Truman heads to Benedictine (Kan.) looking to even their dual match record for the season.
Last season, Truman had to hold on for a 23-21 dual win over a pesky Ravens team to earn their fifth-straight dual win of the year. Andrew Still, Devon Fenstermaker Jabez Zinabu and Chase Wrisinger had big wins for the Bulldogs in the dual.
Following Tuesday's affair, the team will travel for the Coe College Invitational in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Volleyball (28-3)This Week: NCAA Midwest Regional – Thurs., Nov. 20 – Sat., Nov. 22; Allendale, Mich. (Fieldhouse Arena)Last Week: GLVC Championship Tournament – Truman went 3-0 (1st GLVC Championship) Fresh off its first GLVC championship in school history, the Truman volleyball team will take its show on the road for the first three rounds of the 2014 NCAA Div. II tournament, as the top-seeded Bulldogs head north to Allendale, Mich., for opening round play beginning on Thursday, Nov. 20.
Truman, who closed the 2014 regular season with three wins in three days in East Peoria, Ill., to capture the program's first GLVC Championship Tournament title, will do battle with Saturday's championship opponent – McKendree – just five days later in the opening round of the 2014 NCAA Div. II tournament. The Bulldogs, the region's top seed, will face 8
th-seeded McK on the Grand Valley State campus at a time to be announced later on Monday.
This weekend marks the 15
th trip to the NCAA postseason in program history. A full set of regional notes will be released later this week.
The Bulldogs are coached by
Ben Briney, who has a 147-57 record in now his sixth season at the helm.
Cross CountryThis Week: NCAA Midwest Regional (Evansville, Ind.) The Bulldog Cross Country teams will attempt to qualify for nationals at their postseason gets underway with the NCAA Midwest Regional, hosted by the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville on Saturday.
The men's 10K race will kick things off 10:30 a.m. followed by the women's 6K race starting at 11:45 a.m.
The last Truman runners to reach the national meet were Karen Grauel for the women in 2010 and Eli Klimek for the men in 2005.
Grand Valley State is the defending regional champions on both the men's and women's side and have been regional champions for the past four years.
In order to qualify for nationals, the team must finish in the top four in scoring or individuals may qualify being in the top five or one of the top three runners from a non-advancing team.

Last Week: Defeated Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo.) 103-62 The Women's Basketball team will look to build off their strong season opening win with a trip to Music City for the Pops Duncan Classic this weekend.
Truman will play the host school Trevecca Nazarene on Friday evening and Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs defeated the Trojans 82-70 in this same tournament last season outscoring TNU 41-26 in the second half.
The Bulldogs have never met Kentucky Wesleyan on the hardwood.
Head Coach
Amy Eagan used 13 players with all playing over 10 minutes in their 103-62 rout of Hannibal-LaGrange last Friday night in Pershing Arena. McKenzie Russell led the team in her Bulldog debut with 15 points on 7-of-8 shooting in 14 minutes of action.

State (in Nashville); Sat., Nov. 15 – L 74-76 at Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) The Bulldog men's basketball team wrapped up a 1-1 opening weekend and will travel to one of the Midwest's most storied Div. II venues this Sunday for a non-conference tilt at Northern State.
Truman kicked off the 2014-15 campaign with a split weekend in Music City, USA, as the Bulldogs defeated 2014 NCAA tournament team Lake Superior State, 83-65, in the season-opener before coming up one possession short to host TNU in a 76-74 setback on day two of the GLVC/GLIAC/GMAC Midwest Challenge. Reed Mells averaged 21 points and six rebounds per game to lead the Bulldogs.
This week, Truman makes the trek well north to face Northern (S.D.) State. The Wolves are off to a 2-0 start this season, having defeated Missouri Southern and Pittsburg State in opening weekend neutral-site action. NSU is most notably recognized for being the long-time coaching spot of Don Meyer, who held the record for most wins by a men's basketball coach whose career included at least one spell with an NCAA member school. It was surpassed by Duke University coach Mike Krzyzewski in November 2011.

Men's & Women's SwimmingThis Week: Fri., Nov. 21 – Sun., Nov. 23 – at Northwestern TYR Cup (Evanston, Ill.) The Truman swimming teams close out the fall portion of their 2014 schedule with their biggest meet of the season, as the Bulldogs head to the north side of the Windy City for a three-day stint at the TYR Cup, hosted by Big Ten's Northwestern University.
Six women's teams and five men's teams will compete at this meet, with the Bulldogs serving as the only non-Div. I program invited to attend. Northwestern, Saint Louis, Illinois-Chicago, Michigan State, and Air Force (women only) will be in attendance. The meet will feature prelims starting at 9 a.m. CT each morning, with finals slated for 5 p.m. CT on Friday and Saturday before a 3 p.m. final session on Sunday.
