Dan Davis Named Regional Coach Of The Year

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Truman Head Baseball Coach Dan Davis was honored by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) as the NCAA Division II Midwest Region Coach of the Year. Davis guided the Bulldogs to a school record 35 victories and a trip to the Division II College World Series this past spring.

After completing his ninth season, Davis is the second winningest coach in Truman history and has a .549 winning percentage over the past two campaigns. The team has posted back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time in school history while earning a NCAA Tournament at-large bid and winning the Midwest Regional in May.

Davis joined the other seven managers from regional championship teams in receiving the honor from the ABCA.
