Biography

2015 (Junior): Was the starting center in all 11 games and played nearly every snap at the position…was a member of the Academic All-GLVC squad.

2014 (Sophomore): A first-team all-GLVC Offensive lineman…started all 10 games at center for the Bulldogs…helped the squad to the most yards per game rushing (189.6) since the 1997 season.

2013 (Redshirt Freshman): Started 10 of 11 games as a redshirt freshman on the offensive line…earned Academic all-GLVC honors.

2012 (Freshman): Redshirt Season…was a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Wellman was an anchor on the Quincy Notre Dame offensive line the past two seasons as he earned all-state honorable mention accolades following his senior season. He was also named to the 2011 all-Mid State Six first team and all-Area first team while earning second team all-conference and honorable mention all-area in 2010.
