Biography
2010 – Finished no worse than 17th in any of five races throughout the season, including back-to-back top-10s midseason at the Gary Stoner and Yellowjack Classics … placed second on the team at the NCAA regional with a 6K time of 23:14.39 … had her best 5K time at Gary Stoner (18:55) and 6K time at Brissman-Lundeen (22:51) … named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
2009 – Earned all-conference honors with an 11th place showing at the MIAA championship meet with a time of 22:32.62 (6K)…best overall finish was fifth in the season opening Miner Invitational…was in the Bulldog top five in all six meets run…named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and was an MIAA Scholar-Athlete.
High School – Earned all-state honors in both the 3200 meter and 1600 meter runs…finished first place in Class 2 in the 3200 meter run and broke school record with a time of 11:24 in that event…ran for Coach Dean Lewis, a former Truman men’s basketball player at Macon High School and Coach Curtis Harland.
Personal – Born Nov. 11, 1990… daughter of Jerry and Jeannie Grauel…sister Karen is also members of the Truman Track & Field and Cross Country Teams…a pre-Physical Therapy major.
