Truman football travels to Quincy, Ill. for a matchup with the Quincy University Hawks on Saturday, October 29, at 1 p.m.
The Bulldogs go into the game with a 6-1 record and winners of six straight after defeating William Jewell 42-7 last week.
Quarterbacks Nolan Hair and Collin Sutton combined for four total touchdowns against William Jewell, with Hair throwing two and Sutton adding a pair with his legs. Running back Shamar Griffith ran for 110 yards and a touchdown, and receivers Chris Kerr and Matt Hall each caught touchdowns.
The Truman defensive backs led the way for the Bulldog defense, with the top five leading tacklers coming from the group. Peyton Carr had a team-high six tackles, with one being a tackle for loss. Jake Closser and Ben Thomas recorded interceptions, Closser took his all the way back for a pick six.
