Truman State University Head Athletic Trainer Michelle Boyd will be inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame at their enshrinement ceremony on November 20^th at the Holiday Inn Executive Center in Columbia, Missouri.
 
Boyd has served as the Bulldogs Head Athletic Trainer since 2002 and has been a member of the Truman State community since 1994. She was recently enshrined into the Mid-America Athletic Trainers Association in March and has been a member of the Missouri Athletic Trainer's Association (MoATA) Hall of Fame since 2016.
 
She has been honored by the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) when she was named the NCAA Division II Head Athletic Trainer of the Year in 2016. Boyd has served as the president of MoATA and on the Foundation Board for the NATA as well as the Board of Directors for the Mid-America ATA.
 
Boyd and her Truman Athletic Training staff were instrumental in guiding the Bulldogs through the 2019-20 COVID-19 pandemic and will now be joining over 1,200 Missouri sports personalities, teams and programs that have been previously inducted by the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.
