SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The Truman State Men's Cross Country team finished eighth at the 2024 Great Lakes Valley Conference championships on Saturday.
Evan Aubuchon led the Bulldogs scoring 35 points and finishing in 47
th position.
Aubuchon was able to climb six spots over the last 1,000 kilometers to finish in a time of 25:43.46.
Jacob Gutzman was the next Bulldog to finish the eight-kilometer couse in 25:49.74, good for 52
nd.
Gavin Hill (25:54.82) was in 58
th position,
Nolan Meara (26:27.22) was in 80
th and
Andrew Gonski (26:35.88) 85
th place to round out the five-member scoring total of 225 points.
The Bulldogs finished 26 points behind Southwest Baptist and 27 points ahead of Rockhurst. Lewis won the league championship with 34 points.
Next up will be the NCAA Midwest Regional race, contested at Lewis University on Saturday, November 9
th.
