  • Truman offense has averaged over 23 points and 340 yards per game in 54 as offensive coordinator.
  • Bulldogs have averaged 151.4 yards rushing and 188.8 yards passing in those games.
  • Most points scored during tenure is 63 against Northwestern Oklahoma State in 2012, the team has topped 60 points in two games and 50 points one other time.
  • Most single-game yards gained was 615 against Lincoln (Mo.) in 2011 with most rushing yards of 396 in same game against Lincoln and most passing yards being  384 against Fort Hays (Kan.) State in 2012.
  • Has had six first-team all-conference selections, Dallas Grier (2013), Eric Stone (2013), Garrett White (2013-14), Chico Orlando (2014) and Brad Wellman (2014).
  • Dallas Grier finished his Bulldog career as one of 12 players selected to the all-conference team four times during his career. Grier finished third in career receiving yards (2763) and second in receptions (214).
  • The 396 yards rushing against Lincoln in 2011 was the fourth best single-game performance by the Bulldogs since 1993.
  • Spent three seasons as quarterback coach at Division I Grambling State (La.) University.
  • Coached Greg Dillion, who was all-SWAC, SWAC Newcomer of the Year and MVP of the Bayou Classic and SWAC Championship game in 2007.
  • A 2005 graduate and letterwinner at North Carolina State University.
  • Finished his career as the ninth best passer in Wolfpack history with over 3,500 yards passing, 19 touchdowns in 30 career games played.
  • Backed up future NFL quarterback to Phillip Rivers at NC State.
  • Second in the ACC with 2,104 yards as a junior and averaged 191.3 yards passing.
  • The only ACC quarterback to throw for over 200 yards in six consecutive games and had a season-high four touchdown passes in loss to #3 Miami.
  • Named first team all-state (Florida) for Clearwater Central Catholic High School and was the St. Petersburg Times 2000 Player of the Year.
 
Offensive Season Recap:
2014 – Truman averaged 4.70 yards per rush, the tenth best in single-season history and best since the 1996 campaign…the 58.7% completion percentage was the fifth best single-season and best since the 2002 season…Garrett White and Chico Orlando were unanimous first-team all-GLVC choices…White led the conference in rushing and was the first Bulldog to eclipse 1,000 yards in a season with 1,166 yards and 13 touchdowns…Devonte Black led squad in total offense with 151.7/game…single game highs were 350 yards rushing (7.3 per carry) against Southwest Baptist and 216 yards passing against Lincoln…single game total offense and scoring highs were 502 yards and 52 points vs. Southwest Baptist.  

2013 – Garrett White was a nickel shy of becoming the first 1000-yard rusher since 2003 when he gained 995 yards to earn first-team all-conference accolades…the offense was balanced with a 153.5 rushing average and 186.5 passing averaging in 11 games….Conrad Schottel led the team in total offense at 194.3/game…singled game highs of 303 yards rushing against Kentucky Wesleyan and 333 yards passing against McKendree.

2012 – Dallas Grier gained the second most yards receiving in Bulldog history with 1,026 yards while Conrad Schottel threw for 2,103 yards and 12 touchdowns…Garrett White led the running backs with 585 rushing yards and scored nine touchdowns…averaged 115.5 yards rushing, 229.3 yards passing and 344.8 yards of total offense per game…single-game highs of 270 yards rushing against Northwestern Oklahoma State and 384 yards passing against Fort Hays (Kan.) State.

2011 – Quarterback J.B. Clark led the Bulldogs with 2,038 yards passing (203.8/g) while Harnish Ayora led in rushing with 532 yards (48.4/g) and Anthony Brown in receiving with 861 yards (78.3/g)…had a season-high 53 points and rushed for 393 yards in shutout victory over Lincoln (Mo.)…Brown’s 861 yards receiving were the most by a Bulldog since Andrew Blakely’s 965 in 2002…Truman was 80% successful in scoring inside the redzone with nine rushing touchdowns and seven passing TDs.

2010 –Phil Davis was a dual-threat for the Bulldogs as he threw for 1,502 yards and rushed for another 833 as a senior…Davis had a season high 151 yards in finale against Nebraska-Omaha while also throwing for a season-high 218 yards and three TDs in the same game, a 62-61 loss to the Mavericks…seven different Bulldogs had 10 catches or more with Dallas Grier leading with 33 receptions for 548 yards.
