Biography

2010 – Had a pair of top-15 finishes and competed in the NCAA regional for Truman … posted a season-best time of 26:03.3 at the MIAA Championship (8K), finishing 38th … placed second on the team and 11th overall at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational with a time of 26:43 … finished three seconds faster one week prior at the Les Duke, where he also finished 11th overall … placed 82nd at the 10K NCAA Regional with a time of 34:49.79 … given the MIAA’s Academic Excellence Award for a 4.00 cumulative GPA and named to the MIAA academic honor roll.

2009 – Was the team’s top runner at the MIAA Championshps with a 39th place showing and a time of 26:39.86 (8K)…was seventh overall at the season opening Miner Invitational 16:18.0 (5K)…was named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and earned the MIAA Academic Excellence Award with a perfect grade-point average.

2008 – Ran in all six races with a 19th place overall finish at the Miner Invitational as his best…was 53rd overall and sixth on the team at the MIAA meet and 72nd overall and 5th in the NCAA South Central regional…named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll as a freshman.


High School – Was a two-time state qualifier and earned all-conference, all-district and honorable mention sectional honors…a four-year letterwinner at Pattonville High School under John Kern…team won back-to-back conference titles, the district title in 2006 and qualified for state in both 05 and 06…best 10K time is 33:44, 8K 27:01 and 5K 15:55…earned all-conference honors in track and won the 3200m run in 2008.

Personal – Born Nov. 29, 1989…son of Mike and Lisa Dial…an Economics major.
