2012: Voted Honorable Mention all-MIAA…had 56 total tackles in 10 games played…had two tackles for loss and one sack…recorded 10 or more tackles in three games with a season-high 12 coming against Emporia (Kan.) State on Oct. 20…returned kicks the final three games of the season for 78 yards and a long of 26 against Missouri Southern on Nov. 3…averaged 19.5 yards per return.

2011: Received a medical redshirt after playing in the first three games of the season…recorded 20 tackles with 11 coming against Pittsburg State on Sept. 17…had three kick returns for 48 yards, long of 23 on Sept. 1 game against Northwest Missouri.

2010:  An all-MIAA Honorable Mention pick that contributed both on defense and special teams … started all 11 games, recording 61 tackles to finish second on the team … added three TFLs and a half-sack … forced a fumble and had three breakups … averaged nearly 27 yards per kickoff return, including a 96-yard return for a TD against UNO on Nov. 13 … in that game, also recorded a season-best 12 tackles.

2009:  Totaled 55 tackles after playing in and starting nine games…brought down a season-high 12 Tigers in a mid-September home contest against Fort Hays State…added a half-sack in that game as well…recorded three tackles-for-loss on the year and forced two fumbles.

2008:  Was the scout special team’s player of the week following the Northwest Missouri game and the scout defensive player of the week following the Washburn contest.

High School:  Played outside linebacker, defensive end and running back as a three-year starter…recorded 326 career tackles and averaged 5.48 yards per carry while scoring 10 rushing touchdowns…had 86 tackles (15 for loss) and six sacks as a senior… received Dallas Police Chief’s ethics award as a senior for community service, mentoring and tutoring…played baseball and ran track for three years each while in HS…older brother Trey played defensive back for the University of Southern Arkansas.
