Biography
2025: Named CSC Academic All-District. Carmack started all 12 games, recording 31 total tackles (13 solo, 18 assists) with 8.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, 1 quarterback hurry, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 forced fumble.
2024: Two starts among 11 contests for the Bulldogs… 29 tackles total with four for loss… season-high five tackles, two TFL, and one sack at UINDY… four quarterback hurries… Academic All-GLVC selection.
2023: Had 20 tackles with 13 solo in 10 games played during redshirt freshman season…single-game high was six stops, three solo with one for loss against William Jewell on October 21…had a QB sack and TFL at McKendree on September 30…had two blocked kicks, one on a 51-yard field goal attempt by All-American Logan Turner (SBU) and another the following week on a 39-yard attempt by Upper Iowa to help preserved a 14-7 Bulldog win…earned Academic All-GLVC
honors and was a Gaffney Distinguished Scholar for a 4.0 GPA during academic year.
2022: Freshman squad member. Redshirt season…earned Academic All-GLVC honors and was on the James Gaffney Honor Roll for a 4.0 academic year.
High School: Carmack posted 274 total tackles over the course of four seasons at Freeburg High School. He had 160 solo stops, 21.5 quarterback sacks and forced three fumbles with four recoveries. The Midgets went 9-3 before falling in the Illinois Class 4 regional finals. Carmack averaged 9.1 tackles per game his senior season with 6.5 sacks while earning all-State and all-Conference accolades. He has been selected as an Academic All-State and a member of the National Honor Society.
