Biography

2023: As a true freshman, appeared in eight games on the defensive line…assisted on a single-game high three tackles in win over Upper Iowa…finished year with eight tackles and a half quarterback sack.

Shanks earned all-league honors all four seasons at Staley High School as a member of both the defensive line and a member of the school’s wrestling team. His Falcons posted a 7-3 record during his season season with a 4-0 record at home. On the mat, he has won over 75 career matches.
