- However, the home team fought back and rattled off nine of a possible 11 points to regain the lead, 16-13.
- With a 12-7 run at the end of the set, the Bulldogs had won to go up two sets to none.
- Even though Wisconsin-Parkside won the third set, Truman was in no way about to let this thing go five sets.
- In that fourth set, the Bulldogs hit .256 and the Rangers had their worst offensive effort with a clip of .047.
- Through the first 27 points of play, it was all about the hosts as they had held the lead throughout.
