Box Score (HTML)

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The Truman Women's Basketball team scored the game's first 10 points and never looked back in an 80-23 rout over Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo.) College on Monday night in Pershing Arena.

The 57-point spread tied for the second largest margin of victory in Head Coach Amy Eagan's tenure, matching last season's 81-24 win over Central Christian (Mo.) College. The largest margin is a 74-point victory against Stephens (Mo.) College in 2013.

Every player on the Truman active roster scored with Sam Andrews and Tiffany Davenport leading the way with 11 points each. Davenport was three of four from range while Andrews added two more three pointers on the night. The Bulldogs made nine of their 21 attempts from three.

Ashley Hartwig was 5-of-6 from the field for 10 points in 12 minutes of playing time.

The 23 points allowed in a game was the fewest by a Bulldog team since Central Christian scored 20 in a 2007 game.

Truman held the opponents to single digits in each of the four quarters played. The Bulldogs scored the first 19 points to start the second half and ended the quarter on a 25-3 run.

Emma Anderson led the Trojans with six points.

The Bulldogs return to conference play on Thursday night with a road game at McKendree (Ill.). Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
