Brooke Bailey led four Bulldogs in double-figures as Truman moved to 2-0 on the young season with a 71-59 win over Kentucky Wesleyan College.

Bailey scored 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting.
Maddie Re notched her first double-double with 11 points and 16 rebounds. Re was 2-of-4 from the floor and 7-of-10 at the line. Of her 16 boards, 12 came on the defensive end in 23 minutes of play.
Sloane Totta added 14 and
Rachel Edmundson scored 13.

Truman led by 10 at the end of the first quarter 20-10 but the Panthers outscored the Bulldogs 21-10 in the second and had a 31-30 lead in the locker room. The lead expanded to nine at 41-32 following a pair of free throws by Emma Johnson with 4:03 left in the quarter.

The Bulldogs fought back and Totta tied the game at 46 with 13 ticks left in the quarter, however a late basket gave KWC the 48-46 lead heading into the final 10 minutes.

Truman dominated the fourth.
Rachel Steinhoff broke the 50-all tie with seven minutes to play and Truman went on a 12-4 run over the next four plus minutes to take command. They would finish the game winning the fourth 25-11.

The Bulldogs shot 40% from the field with only four shots made from outside the arc. They were 23-of-28 at the line and won the glass 49-27.

The Panthers were placed by Lily Grimes' 14 points but KWC managed 34% from the field and 13-of-21 from the line.

Truman will open up their home regular season on Tuesday night hosting Missouri Western. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m.
