ROLLA, Mo. - The Truman Women's Basketball team finished the regular season with a 65-52 win at Missouri S&T on Saturday to post back-to-back 20-win seasons and the fifth 20-win campaign since 2013.

Despite having the second-best league mark at 16-4, Truman (20-7; 16-4 GLVC) will be the number four seed and face #5 seed Lindenwood in the quarterfinal round of the Great Lakes Valley Conference postseason tournament on Friday in Edwardsville, Illinois. Seeds were determined by the GLVC Points Rating system that weighed wins and losses based on home and away and your opponents winning percentage.Â

Katie Jaseckas got things going for the Bulldogs with a layup in the first 17 seconds. The Bulldogs went on a 10-2 run to start the game to jump out to an early lead. Missouri S&T found a rhythm and eventually took a one-point lead in the first. Truman ended the first leading 22-17. The Bulldogs went on a 19-0 run to close out the half leading 42-22.
Missouri S&T started the third quarter on a 6-0 run to cut the lead to 14. The Miners would get within six after outpacing the Bulldogs 17-3 in the third.Â
With a 45-39 lead starting the fourth, Truman out scored the Miners 20-13 to hold on and secure the 65-52 victory.Â
Jaseckas led the charge with 23 points on 9-of-11 shooting from the field and added eight rebounds. Maya Mouton added nine points and six rebounds in the win. Hannah Belanger scores eight points for the Bulldogs.Â
The Miners (8-19; 4-16 GLVC) were led in scoring by Mykala Baylor who finished with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Maddie Raley finished with 10 points and added 7 rebounds.Â
Truman won the rebound battle 42-36 including 11 offensive rebounds.Â
