KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - Truman State Baseball will conduct a pair of winter camps along with their annual Hitting League.
Head Coach Dan Davis and staff will offer the Offense/Defense camp on January 7th while the Pitching and Catching camp will run on January 8th. Both camps start with check-in at 12:30 p.m. and will begin at 1 p.m. in Pershing Arena and the Pershing Small Gym. The January 7th camp will end around 4:30 p.m. and the pitching/catching camp will end at 4 p.m. They are open to players in 10-12th grades.
The Offense/Defense camp is limited to the first 30 registrants and will cost $50 per camper with a deadline of January 4th. There is a $25 cancelation fee.
The Pitching/Catching camp is $50 per player and a deadline of January 4th. Walk-ups will be welcomed but there is also a $25 cancelation fee.Â
The Hitting League will being on Sunday, January 15th and run the next five Sundays. Each week, players will gain instruction from Truman State players and coaches on hitting philosophy and live work off tees and in batting cages. It is open to players in 4th through 12th grades. Campers will be divided into hitting groups of similar grades. Cost is $60 per camper or $200 for a four-person group. A late fee will be applied to anyone signing up after January 11th.
