Women's Golf

The Truman golf team will be in Parkville, Mo. this week for the Virginia McCoy Invite at Park University.

The Bulldogs finished first out of six teams in the Kansas City Cup on Sept. 26-27, and look to repeat that success. Natalie Fatka had to best result for Truman in the Kansas City Cup, shooting a 234 and their lowest 18-hole team score since 2017 with a 314.

The Bulldogs tennis team is looking to rebound after a tough 7-0 loss to Missouri Western on October 7.

Truman is 3-2 on the season and will be trying to make it 4-2 with a matchup at Grand View University (Iowa) on Tuesday, October 11, at 4 p.m.

Volleyball Team

Truman volleyball travels to Hammond, Ind. for the Midwest Region Volleyball Crossover Tournament that will feature 36 teams from the GLVC, GMAC, and GLIAC.

The Bulldogs dropped their last two games at Lewis University 3-0 and at University of Illinois Springfield 3-0.

Andy Brennan's magical game-tying goal at the buzzer against University of Illinois Springfield made a lot of noise and was the highlight of the Men's soccer games from last week. The Bulldogs drew against UIS 1-1 on Friday and lost 3-0 to Lewis University on Sunday.

This week, Truman plays at Upper Iowa University Friday, October 14, at noon in a non-conference matchup. The Peacocks are 1-10-1 on the season.

The Bulldogs play at 2-8-3 Quincy at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 16.

The Truman Men and Women's swimming teams head to Rochester Minnesota for the Maverick Invite on Saturday.

The Bulldogs are coming off two losses to Saint Louis University and William Jewell College (Mo.).

The 4-1 Truman football team hosts 3-3 Southern Baptist University under the lights of Stokes Stadium on Saturday, October 15, at 6 p.m.

The Bulldogs were in control for the entire game against Missouri S&T last week, winning 36-14 off the arm of Nolan Hair and Shamar Griffith's legs. Quarterback Collin Sutton got his first snaps of the season against the Miners, rushing for 46 yards and throwing a 3-yard touchdown on his only pass attempt. Hair threw for 168 yards and two scores while Griffith added 88 yards on the ground and a touchdown.

Truman Bulldogs Women's soccer faces conference foe Quincy on Sunday, October 16, at noon.

The 3-5-5 Bulldogs dropped two games last week against University of Illinois Springfield 1-0 and Lewis University 1-0.

Quincy is 1-6-5 on the season.
