Kansas City, Mo. - A PK goal with 11 minutes left lifted the Rockhurst Hawks to a 1-0 victory over the Truman Women's Soccer team on Friday evening. The Bulldogs will close out the regular season on Sunday at noon against William Jewell.
The foul in the box occurred late in the second half and Hawk Anna Lantz converted the penalty that stood up as the game winning goal.
Rockhurst had a decisive advantage in the stat sheet with a 21-4 margin in total shots and a 8-0 tally on shots on goal.
Tatumn Damron stopped all seven shots while the clock was in motion.
