ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Truman State volleyball was defeated by Lewis University in three sets on Friday night.
The Bulldogs dropped the first 25-13 before falling just short in set two 26-24. The two teams traded leads four times before giving up the final two points after being tied at 24. The final set was won 25-10 in favor of the Flyers.
Jessica Proszenyak led Truman in kills with nine, followed by Allison Beaton with 7, and Hanna Berry with six.
Emma Baierl had all but four assists with 25, and Hanna Berry led the Bulldogs in aces with one.
Bulldogs volleyball plays again at University of Illinois Springfield on Saturday, October 8, at 3 p.m.
