Truman Women's basketball plays two games in the Drury Thanksgiving Classic against Ashland University and Emporia State University. Then on Saturday Truman hosts McKendree for the start of GLVC play.

Ashland is 4-0 on the year, with a dominant win against GLVC opponent University of Indianapolis 87-49. Cedarville is 1-1 with a loss to Ferris State and a win against Central State. McKendree has started the year 1-3.

The Bulldogs went 1-1 last week at Missouri Western and at Upper Iowa. Truman lost to Missouri Western 81-72 and defeated Upper Iowa 97-90 in overtime.

Hannah Belanger had two great performances in both games, scoring 25 points against Missouri Western and 36 against Upper Iowa. Her 36 points were tied for fifth most in a game in Truman history.

The Men's basketball team plays at Emporia State and takes on McKendree for the GLVC opener.

Emporia State is 4-0, with wins against Arkansas Tech, Southwestern Oklahoma, and GLVC foes Rockhurst and William Jewell. McKendree is 1-2 with a win against Culver-Stockton College.

Truman went 2-1 last week, with comeback wins against Upper Iowa and Southwest Minnesota State. The Bulldogs fell at Division II power and the No. 1 team in the country Northwest Missouri State on Sunday.

Elijah Hazekamp had another 20-point game against Upper Iowa, and Dylan Peeters led Truman in scoring against Southwest Minnesota State.
