SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Drury Lady Panthers maintained their first place lead in the Great Lakes Valley Conference as they scored two second half goals to beat the Truman State Women's Soccer team 2-0 on Sunday.
The goals occurred 11 minutes apart early in the second half. The first came by Kourtney Tucker on a low right shot that beat Tatum Damron and was assisted by Ines Villanueva Casal and Halley Kemmer in the 53rd minute.
At the 64:28 mark, Elsa Gonzalez went high and scored off a pass by Tucker.
Jessica Kozol, Lia Quintero and Aubrey Kaupas has the shots on net for the Bulldogs as they slip to 2-2-1 in the league and 3-4-3 overall. Drury remains unbeaten at 5-0-1 and 8-1-1 overall.
Truman will host Rockhurst and William Jewell next weekend in Kirksville. The Rockhurst match is Friday at 2:30 p.m.
