Hair would take a snap and run off right tackle into the end zone to give the Bulldogs a 7-0 lead with 10:51 showing in the second quarter.

In the third quarter, Jack Weltha ripped away the ball from Miner QB Tyler Gioia and ran 17 yards for his first defensive touchdown to make it 21-0 with 8:26 left in the third.

The Miners scored on the last play of the quarter on a 27-yard pass from Gioia to Reid Weber but the Bulldogs got points right back. Jack Butchko returned the ensuing kick 53 yards and Grant Ross hit a 38-yard field goal to extend the lead to 24-7.
