KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - The Truman State women's basketball team scored the first 11 points and cruised to an 87-53 over the William Woods (Mo.) Owls in an exhibition contest.
Four players scored in double figures led by Maddie Niemeier with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Molly Joyce added 13 points and five steals and 10 points each came from Emma Bulman and Jordan Cunningham.
William Woods was paced with 12 points from India Atkins.Â
The Bulldogs will travel down to Columbia for their next exhibition contest against the University of Missouri. Tip off is currently scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Mizzou Arena.
