The fall sports season is almost here, and Bulldog fans will notice several exciting additions and enhancements across Truman State Athletics in 2026-27. From expanded ticketing options and premium gameday experiences to the return of soccer to Bulldog Soccer Park, there are more ways than ever to support Truman's student-athletes throughout the semester.

Whether you're attending games in person, watching from home, or looking to elevate your Bulldog gameday experience, here's everything you need to know before the season begins.

Student & Community Appreciation Week Opens the Season

The opening home events of the 2026-27 season will be part of Student & Community Appreciation Week. Additional details, promotions, and activities will be announced Thursday as Truman State Athletics celebrates the start of another year of Bulldog competition.

Expanded Ticketing for 2026-27

For the first time, volleyball joins football and men's and women's basketball as a ticketed sport during the 2026-27 academic year.

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online in advance through the Truman State Athletics Ticket Page to save time at facility entrances. Cash purchases will still be accepted at the gate for all ticketed events.

Football

• General Admission: $10
• Youth (ages 5-18) and Seniors (55+): $5

Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, and Volleyball

• General Admission: $5
• Youth (ages 5-18) and Seniors (55+): $3

Fans purchasing tickets through TixTrack should note that a $2 service fee is added to each ticket purchased online.

Tailgating Returns to Stokes Stadium

Football tailgating will remain in the stadium lot, the same location as previous seasons, with the tailgate lot opening three hours before kickoff for every Truman State home football game.

Fans wishing to purchase a day-of-game tailgate spot may do so for $20. Availability cannot be guaranteed, particularly as kickoff approaches.

Fans looking for a guaranteed season-long tailgate spot should consider joining the Bulldog Backbone Fund, where reserved football season tailgate spots begin at the Bulldog membership level.

Enhance Your Gameday Experience with the Bulldog Backbone Fund

The Bulldog Backbone Fund supports Bulldog Athletics through athletic scholarships, facility improvements, and resources that enhance the student-athlete experience while helping Truman's programs compete for championships.

In addition to supporting Truman student-athletes, members receive a variety of exclusive benefits.

Bulldog Level ($500+)

The Bulldog level is the first tier that unlocks major gameday benefits, including:

• Truman State Athletics clear bag
• Two general admission season passes for all athletic events
• Reserved football season tailgate spot

This is the first level that guarantees a football season tailgate location.

All-Conference Level ($1,000+)

In addition to previous benefits, All-Conference members receive:

• Two admissions to the Basketball Hospitality Suite

Basketball hospitality food and other amenities access begins at this level.

All-American Level ($1,500+)

The All-American level introduces premium football seating and hospitality benefits, including:

• Two football premium chairback season passes
• Reserved football season tailgate spot
• Two admissions to the Football Hospitality Suite
• Two admissions to the Basketball Hospitality Suite
• Two season passes for volleyball and men's and women's basketball
• Two Truman State Athletics t-shirts
• Truman Athletics clear bag

The only way to access premium football chairback season seating is through the All-American and Champion membership levels.

In addition, football hospitality suite access begins at this level. The suite will feature food and other amenities during all Truman State home football games.

Champion Level ($2,500+)

The Champion level provides the most comprehensive package of fan benefits, including:

• GLVC Sports Network All-Access Regular Season Pass
• Four football premium chairback season passes
• Reserved football season tailgate spot
• Four admissions to the Football Hospitality Suite
• Four admissions to the Basketball Hospitality Suite
• Four season passes for volleyball and men's and women's basketball

Champion members can enjoy Bulldog Athletics both in person and remotely through the included GLVC Sports Network subscription.

Clear Bag Policy Remains in Effect

Truman State Athletics' clear bag policy remains in effect for the 2026-27 academic year.

Fans are encouraged to review the complete Clear Bag and Tailgating Policy before attending events this year.

Bulldog Backbone Fund members at the Bulldog level and above receive an official Truman State Athletics clear bag as part of their membership benefits.

Parking Information

Fans attending Truman State athletic events should review the Athletics Event Parking Map before arriving on campus.

The map identifies parking locations available during athletic events and can help fans plan their route to each facility before gameday.

Digital Gameday Programs

Truman State Athletics no longer produces printed game programs.

Instead, fans can access digital gameday programs by scanning QR codes located on A-frame signs near facility entrances. Programs are typically published on the morning of gameday and are also available through the Digital Gameday Programs page.

Reigning Cats & Dogs Returns for Season Two

Fans can also stay connected to Bulldog Athletics through Reigning Cats & Dogs, the official coaches podcast of Truman State Athletics.

The show is available on the TrumanStateBulldogs YouTube channel as well as Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Season two premieres Wednesday and will continue providing behind-the-scenes conversations, program updates, and insight from Bulldog coaches throughout the year.

Soccer Returns to Bulldog Soccer Park

For the first time in multiple years, Truman State men's and women's soccer will return primarily to Bulldog Soccer Park during the 2026 season.

While select matches will still be hosted at Stokes Stadium, Bulldog Soccer Park will once again serve as the primary home venue for Truman soccer.
