Biography

2017 (Junior): Carried the ball in five games with a total of 20 attempts for 61 yards…caught a pair of passes for another 22 yards…biggest workday was eight rushes for 23 yards and two kick returns for 52 against Lincoln (Sept. 23)…had eight of his 20 rushing attempts in his final two games of the season against Quincy and the second SBU game (Oct. 28/Nov.4)…returned five kicks for 117 yards with a long of 27 and finished the season with 200 all-purpose yards…a GLVC All-Academic team member. 

2016 (Sophomore): Followed up freshman season with 52 carries for 192 yards and two scores while catching three passes for 28 yards…had season-high 10 rushes for 54 yards and a long of 25 in win over Lincoln (Sept. 24)…is the active leader in rushing yards with 742 and in attempts with 208…an Academic All-GLVC team member.

2015 (Freshman): As a true freshman, led the Bulldogs in rushing with 550 yards on 156 carries and six touchdowns…matched Jarrett Anderson’s Truman record for a freshman running back with 172 yards on 31 carries in victory over St. Francis (Oct. 17)…earned the GLVC Offensive Player of the Week award for that performance…had 32 carries for 125 yards the following week against William Jewell and scored four touchdowns…the four rushing TDs were the most by a Bulldogs since Anderson had a school-record six against Emporia State in 1996…had Truman’s longest rush in that game, a 36-yard TD burst that closed the door of the game late in the fourth quarter…averaged 14 carries per game and added 13 receptions for 73 yards…named to the GLVC All-Academic team.

High School: Broke career, season and single-game rushing, touchdowns and points scored records as a member of the Rolla Bulldogs…named to the Missouri Class 5 all-state team…as a senior, ran for 2,392 yards on 252 carries and scored 32 touchdowns…set a new school standard with 436 yards on 46 attempts against Hillcrest and scored seven touchdowns on 23 carries for 334 yards against Joplin…for his career, ran for 3,837 yards and 44 touchdowns…was a two time all-conference and all-district selection in football and heading into his senior season, a two time all-conference baseball player…a member of the National Honor Society.
