2021
  • First team all-GLVC as a defensive back
  • Had a team single-game high with 16 tackles against Indianapolis (11/13) and added an interception during that game
  • Finished with 86 stops and topped 10 or more in three games
  • Had a fumble recovery and interception against Missouri S&T (10/9)
  • Added 4.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 quarterback sacks to go along with three overall interceptions
  • Earned Academic All-GLVC honors

2020

  • Named first team all-GLVC as a defensive back after registering 26 total tackles, 18 solo in four spring games.
  • Had a season-best 10 stops in GLVC Championship game against UINDY.
  • Named an Academic All-GLVC team member.

2019 (Freshman)

  • Started in 11 of 12 games as a true freshman.
  • Had 38 total tackles with 28 being solo.
  • Had two interceptions last year against Wayne State and one returned for 16 yards against Lindenwood.
  • Credited for 10 pass breakups.
High School: Watson was a decorated offensive star for Fort Zumwalt East with over 9,000 yards of total offense. He broke school records with 5,034 rushing yards, 83 rushing touchdowns, 2,217 rushing yards in the season and 38 season rushing touchdowns. He threw for 4,426 yards with a school record 371 in a game to go along with a record 315 rushing yards in a single game. Watson was a class 4 first team all-State honoree as a senior and a second team all-State following his junior season. He was the Gateway Athletic Conference Central Division Offensive Player of the Year. On the defensive side of the ball, Watson set a school record with eight career interceptions. Watson plans on a major in Political Science at Truman and is the son of Stephen and Traci Watson.
