High School: After 4 years as a starter, Schrader had 834 rushes for 6,759 yards, and 99 touchdowns. As a receiver, he had 53 receptions with 659 yards and 5 touchdowns. On special teams, he recorded 3 kickoff return touchdowns and 1 punt return touchdown. Total, he had 111 touchdowns including 3 passing touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball, he had 481 total tackles, 14 sacks, 5 fumble recoveries, and 1 interception. In all, Schrader holds 17 school records including touchdowns, rushing attempts, rushing yards, total yards, and total points in a single game, season, and career for all 5 categories. Defensively, he holds the records for most tackles in a season and a career. He was named an All-Conference Running back and line backer 4 times. He was a 3 time Conference Player of the Year, a 4 time All-District running back and linebacker, and a 3 time All-Metro running back. Schrader was named 2nd team All-State twice, and in his senior year was named 1st team All-State. With a 4.0 GPA in his junior and senior year, he was awarded Honors with Highest Distinction as well.
