Biography

2015 (Redshirt Junior): Was second on the team with 85 rushing attempts for 339 yards and had one touchdown…rushed over 10 times in a game in five contest…had season-high 18 carries for 88 yards and a touchdown in victory over Saint Joseph’s on November 7…his one-yard TD late in the second quarter was the only touchdown of the game in the 10-3 win…longest rush of the season was 24 yards against Wayne State on September 12 and longest reception was 23 yards in the same game…caught six total passes on the season…added a pair of kick returns with a long of 19.

2014 (Junior): Redshirt season.

2013 (Sophomore): Was second on the team in rushing with 426 yards on 90 attempts…had career-high 27 rushing attempts for 101 yards and two touchdowns along with three receptions and 44 yards in Bulldogs homecoming win over McKendree (Ill.) on Oct. 19…earned GLVC Special Teams Player of the Week honors following a punt block and a 24-yard punt return against William Jewell (Mo.) on Oct. 12…averaged 29.2 yards on 10 kick returns with a long of 68 against William Penn (Iowa) on Sept. 21…had three kick returns over 35 yards (37, 59, 68).

2012 (Freshman): One of two true freshman to play during the season…had 26 rushes for 129 yards and four catches for 39 yards in nine games…had seven carries for 56 yards with a long of 19 against Central Missouri on Sept. 20…had three of his four catches in season finale against Lindenwood (Mo.) on Nov. 10…added 10 kick returns for 207 yards with a long of 41 in loss to Washburn (Kan.) on Oct. 13.

High School: Hartfield was a second team all-district selection at North Crowley High School in Fort Worth, Texas. He had 70 rushes for 369 yards and added six catches for 54 with four touchdowns and a pair of point-after conversions. Hartfield was a three-year letterwinner and two year starter while also running the 100 and 200 meter dash for the school’s track and field team.
