Biography
2022: Junior letter winner that had two tackles on the season both coming in a home win over McKendree…earned Academic All-GLVC honors.
2021: Credited with a solo tackle against William Jewell (10/23)...Recovered a fourth quarter fumble against the Cardinals that preserved a 52-0 shutout for Truman State University...Sophomore letterwinner.
2020: Made six tackles, four solo in Truman’s win at Missouri S&T during the spring season...Earned Academic All-GLVC accolades.
2019 (Freshman): Played in 11 games as a true freshman...Recorded eight tackles on the year...Credited with a 26-yard interception against Quincy on September 28...Had two pass breakups.
High School: Winston notched over 200 career tackles with six interceptions and 10 fumbles forced for the Broncos of Lee’s Summit North High School. He was a first team all-Suburban Gold conference honoree and part of a conference championship team with a 9-3 record in 2018. They advanced in the playoffs to the district championship game before falling to Rockhurst 10-3. Winston was part of a championship team in 2018 as Lee’s Summit North won the class 5 Track and Field championship. He is a member of the Principal’s Honor Roll and plans on a major in Marketing. Brandon is the son of Brandon Winston and Kim Palmer.
