Biography

2017 (Junior): Averaged 36.9 yards per punt on 55 attempts as a junior…had a long punt of 56 that came against Missouri S&T (Sept. 16)…had three 50+yard punts and 12 end inside the opponents 20 yardline…was ranked third in the GLVC in punting…completed one pass for 24 yards against Morningside (Sept. 9) and ran for five yards on a fourth down play against Lincoln (Sept. 23)…averaged 56.9 yards per kickoff with 12 touchbacks and no kickoffs out of bounds.

2016 (Sophomore): Honorable mention all-GLVC as a punter…was third in the conference at 39.4 yards per attempt…was the GLVC Special Teams player of the week following Truman’s win over Lincoln (Sept. 24) in which all five punts landed inside the 20 and three inside the 10…had 12 punts downed inside the 10 and 25 of 55 inside the 20…longest punt was 61 yards against Missouri S&T (Sept. 17)…averaged 56.3 yards per kickoff with six touchbacks…an Academic All-GLVC team member.

2015 (Freshman): As a true freshman, handled the bulk of the punting duties with 52 punts that averaged 35.7 yards…longest was 54 yards came against Missouri S&T on September 29…had five punts over 50 yards and 13 land inside the opponent’s 20 yardline…averaged 39.1 yards in his eight punts against Saint Joseph’s on November 7 in which Truman needed to win field position in a 10-3 victory…had seven kickoffs and averaged 59.9 per attempt...was a member of the Academic All-GLVC team.

High School: A second team all-state kicker and was a first team all-district quarterback in 2014…was 4-of-6 with a long of 45 in field goals and made 13-of-18 in extra points…averaged 53.2 yards and had 23 touchbacks on kickoffs…threw for a career 2,570 yard with 27 passing touchdowns…was a state qualifier in the Discus in 2014…a member of the National Honor Society and Student Senate President…father Todd lettered three seasons for the Bulldogs (1986-1988)
