High School: Sprouse was the starting quarterback and earned all-conference honors for the Jaguars his senior season and completed 93 of 175 passing attempts for 1,511 yards and seven touchdowns. He threw for over 300 yards including a school record 95-yard touchdown pass in a 34-7 victory over Olathe North on September 15. Sprouse carried the ball 107 times for 342 yards and eight touchdowns. He scored three TDs rushing in a 10-point win over Staley on September 9. Sprouse was part of state championship teams in football and basketball in 2015 at Blue Springs South.
