Andy Allison is in his first season as an assistant coach for Truman Football. Allison was a four-year Division I player at the University of Minnesota and has been coaching football for seven years, including four at the collegiate level.
He previously served as a graduate assistant coach at Bemidji (Minn.) State University where he coached the wide receivers. The Beavers won the 2015 NSIC North Division and were the 2016 Mineral Water Bowl Champs. He was involved in all aspects of the program, including on-field coaching duties, game plans and scouting reports and was the team’s academic liaison.
Allison served one season as a defensive backs coach at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and one at St. Olaf College.
Allison graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Family Social Science and received his Master’s degree in Teaching from Bemidji State in May of 2017.
