Biography

2017 (Senior): Redshirt season.

2016 (Junior): Honorable mention all-GLVC defensive back...was among the team leaders in tackles with 48 and led the defensive backs with 14 pass breakups...had eight tackles, with seven solo stops in season opener against Midwestern State (Sept. 3)...that game included his only fumble recovery of the year...picked off a pass and returned it 18 yards in Truman's victory over Indianapolis (Oct. 1)...finished the year with his first 10 tackle game against McKendree (Nov. 12). 

2015 (Sophomore): Started the final seven games of the season and played in all 11…finished with 37 total tackles, 26 solo and 11 assisted, and had 1.5 tackles for loss…had season-high six tackles in finale against McKendree on November 14…had an interception and return of 35 yards when he picked off a pass at Truman’s seven yards line on Quincy’s opening drive in their October 31st game which eventually lead to the Bulldogs first score of the game on their ensuing drive…had three pass breakups…had four punt returns for 22 yards and a long of nine (against St. Francis) and a pair of kick returns for 21 yards.

2014 (Freshman): As a true freshman, played in all 10 games with 15 total tackles…had both an interception, fumble recovery and a single-game high seven tackles in victory over Southwest Baptist on November 1.

High School: Finished the season 12-1, falling in the Illinois Class 7 semifinals to eventual champion Mount Carmel….was third on the team in scoring with nine touchdowns and a pair of two-point conversions…had 53 rushes for 256 yards and four catches for 24…had 49 total tackles, including five for loss and four interceptions…named first team all-Southwestern Conference while helping the team to the league title…was a first team all-conference track athlete.
