Truman

2012: Earned second team all-MIAA at wide receiver…second all-time in Truman history in yards receiving during a season with 1,026 yards and third all-time in receptions with 81…had single-game highs of 178 yards and 11 catches in victory over Nebraska-Kearney on Oct. 6…had four games of over 100 yards receiving and caught four touchdown passes…led the MIAA and was 14th in Division II in receptions per game at 7.3 and was fourth in the conference and 25th in Division II in receiving yards per game at 93.2…as a punt returner, was third in the MIAA with 11.3 yards per return in 18 attempts with a long of 39 against Fort Hays (Kan.) State…was eighth in the MIAA in all-purpose yardage with 115.3 per game…will enter his senior season fourth all-time in career receptions with 161and receiving yards with 2,173.

2011: Honorable Mention all-MIAA for second straight season…was second on the team with 47 catches and 599 yards…caught season-high 10 passes and a touchdown against Washburn on Oct. 8…had two 100-yard receiving days, both 109 yards against Washburn and Lincoln…had at least one catch in all 11 games and four touchdown receptions.

2010: Named all-MIAA Honorable Mention after playing in ten games and starting nine as a freshman wide receiver … caught three touchdown passes and finished with 548 receiving yards on 33 receptions to lead the squad … opened his career with a five reception, 106 yard performance at SJC on Aug. 28 … reeled in a season-high eight catches and 112 yards at ESU on Oct. 23 … closed the year with a pair of touchdowns on five receptions against UNO on Nov. 10 … had a season-long catch of 66 yards against MSSU on Oct. 16 … added a tackle against Fort Hays State on Sept. 18 and recovered a PAT attempt for two points at Pitt State on Nov. 6.

High School:  Grier was a unanimous choice first team all-District selection for the Wakeland Wolverines in 2009 and was the #12 receiver in Class 4A in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.  Grier caught nine touchdowns and had 941 receiving yards after helping the Wolverines to a 6-3 record.  He was named the team’s most valuable wide receiver and most valuable player in the secondary.  For his high school career, Grier had 12 receiving touchdowns and 1,444 receiving yards.   He was a first team all-County Wide Receiver last season.   Grier is also a member of the school’s basketball and track teams.
