Biography

Smith’s Platte County team capped off a perfect season by capturing the Missouri Class 5 state championship over Jefferson City Helias. Smith recorded five tackles and a pass break-up in the title game. He finished his high school career with 248 stops, 28 for loss, six sacks and forced/recovered three fumbles. He has two interceptions including a pick six. Named all-State at the linebacker position and was all-district and all-conference multiple times. Smith is also an accomplished wrestler and was a state medalist.
