2013 (Sophomore): Took snaps in two games, at Quincy (Ill.) on Oct. 5 and at Kentucky Wesleyan on Nov. 3, both Truman victories

2012 (Redshirt Freshman): Made appearances in four games, against Lincoln, Central Missouri, Fort Hays State and Washburn.

2011 (Freshman): Redshirted

High School: Cerven earned conference honors on both sides of the ball for the successful Bowling Green program in the EMO conference. He was an all-conference center while also picking up second team accolades as a defensive tackle. He was a first team all-district tackle. He was both all-conference and all-district on the school's basketball team.
