Biography

2022: First team all-GLVC selection…led defense in total tackles with 78 with two interceptions…added 3.5 tackles for loss and one quarterback sack…single game high was 10 tackles in first Tiffin (Ohio) matchup…was named a GLVC Defensive Player of the Week following victory McKendree…will enter 2023 with 212 total tackles in 37 games played.

2021: Led defense with 89 total tackles for an average of 7.4 per game...Second team all-GLVC...Had 10 solo tackles, and 12 total against Lindenwood (10/2)...Season single game high mark of 14 tackles against Southwest Baptist (10/16)...Added a forced fumble and three QB hurries

2020: Earned honorable mention all-GLVC honors...Finished with 24 tackles and 1.5 for loss...Had eight solo stops, and a 49-yard fumble recovery against Missouri S&T.

2019 (Freshman): Played in 10 games as a true freshman...Recorded 21 tackles....Credited with one pass breakup and a quarterback hurry.

High School: Estes was a standout on both sides of the ball at Fayette High School. He was the leading rusher this past season with 1,774 yards and 28 rushing touchdowns and for his career had over 5000 yards rushing and 78 touchdowns. He was a third team all-State running back and the Lewis and Clark Conference Offensive Player of the Year. As a linebacker, Estes made 120 tackles with 13 for loss for the 11-2 Falcons. He was a two-time L&C Defensive Player of the Year. For his defensive career, Estes made over 370 tackles with seven interceptions. He was a three-year first team all-conference running back and linebacker and was a three-time KRES all-star. Estes has been an all-conference hoops player and a member of the school’s track and field team. He plans on an Exercise Science major at Truman and is the son of Brandon Estes.
