Biography

2016 (Junior): Named Honorable Mention All-GLVC as a defensive end…had 9.5 TFLs with 7.5 sacks among his 41 tackles made…posted a season-high six stops with two sacks and a fumble force/recovery in victory over Southwest Baptist (Oct. 8)…registered tackles in all 11 games with an average of 3.7 tackles per game.

2015 (Sophomore): Was a starter for 10 of the 11 games and finished with 29 total tackles and six tackles for loss…had a season-high six stops on two occasions, against Wayne State on (Sept. 12) and at St. Francis on (Oct. 17)…finished the year with three quarterback sacks for 18 yards…25 of 29 tackles came on rushing plays.

2014 (Redshirt Freshman): Took snaps in eight games on the defensive line…recorded a sack for a nine-yard loss against Southwest Baptist on (Nov. 1)…had a single-game high three total tackles against the Bearcats that afternoon…had 10 total stops including 1.5 for loss during the season.

High School: A three-year starter for the Cougars, was a first team all-district selection as a defensive lineman…was the team’s most valuable player and finished the season with 90 tackles and 12 sacks…was an honorable mention all-district as a sophomore and a second team honoree as a junior…was a four-year starter on the school’s powerlifting team earning all-state accolades and breaking a school lifting record…named a first team academic all-district member.
