Biography
Truman:
2011: Played in all 11 games at fullback and on special teams…had one catch for 21 yards that helped set up a touchdown in victory over Fort Hays St. on Sept. 10…had three tackles on special teams including a fumble recovery on a kickoff in Truman’s win against McKendree on Oct. 1…a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
2010: Played in ten games, seeing action on both sides of the ball … had a pair of catches for 22 yards against ESU on Oct. 23 … totaled five tackles on the year, including a season-high two against UNO on Nov .13 … member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
2009: Started six of ten games played, totaling 13 tackles and 2.5 tackles-for-loss…had four tackles (three solo) in the season-opener against Minnesota State…recovered a fumble against Nebraska-Omaha.
2008: Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll...was the scout special team’s player of the week following the Central Missouri game.
High School: Recorded 329 career tackles and was a part of former Bulldog Dale Gildehaus’ St. Francis Borgia’s semifinal team in 2007…was named a first-team all-state linebacker as a senior and was all-district as a sophomore, junior and senior…received all-area Defensive Player of the Year honors in St. Louis all-metro area…capped his high school career with 146 tackles, two fumble recoveries on the defensive side, while rushing for 826 yards and 15 touchdowns offensively as a senior…played basketball and track/field.
