Biography
2014 (Junior): Played in nine, started four including the final three games in the defensive backfield…was third on the team with 58 total tackles…had four tackles for loss and forced fumble and a fumble recovery…notched 15 stops with his recovery against Indianapolis on October 18…the 15 tackles were tied with Jordan Brown for the most by a Bulldog in a single-game during the season…had a dozen tackles in the victory against Quincy on November 8.
2013 (Sophomore): Had 33 tackles, 25 solo in 10 games played…had season-high eight stops against Saint Joseph’s (Ind.) on Nov. 9…had two sacks for 21 yards in shutout victory over Quincy (Ill.) on Oct. 5…made tackles in nine games and forced fumble in win against Missouri S&T on Oct. 26.
2012 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in the final 10 games of the season and made 16 total tackles…had a season-best five stops (3 solo; 2 assisted) in win over Northwestern Oklahoma State on Sept. 15.
2011 (Freshman): Redshirted
High School: Lamar recorded 134 tackles, five interceptions and 11 tackles for loss as a junior and senior for the Chris Schremp and the Prairie Ridge Wolves. The team posted an 11-2 record in 2010 and allowed just eight points per game in winning the Fox Valley Conference Fox Division. Lamar earned all-Area and all-conference accolades and was also a kick returner with 630 yards his senior season. Lamar is currently a member of the school’s basketball team and broke the school record in the long jump with a mark of 21-07.00.
