2013: Named first-team all-GLVC…led team with 83 total tackles and was ninth in the GLVC in tackles/game at 7.5…had season-high 11 stops against Saint Joseph’s (Ind.) on Nov. 9 and topped 10 against Grand Valley St. (Mich.) on Sept. 14…had an interception and a 19-yard return against GVSU…was second on team with 10 tackles for loss, including 3.5 against Kentucky Wesleyan on Nov. 2…named Academic All-GLVC.

2012: Registered 41 total tackles in 11 games during his junior season…had one sack, against Nebraska-Kearney on Oct. 6 and three tackles for loss…had a fumble recovery against Pittsburg State on Oct. 27…had a season-high 10 tackles (4 solo; 6 assisted) in season finale against Lindenwood (Mo.) on Nov. 10.

2011: Played on special teams and defense in seven games…had five tackles on Oct. 1 game against McKendree, 12 total during the season…a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

2010 - Redshirted … member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

High School -  Bell left Marceline as the school’s second all-time leader in rushing yards with over 3900 including 1738 his senior season.  He averaged eight yards per carry and scored 29 touchdowns while leading the Tigers to a 12-1 record in 2009.  On defense, Bell recorded 113 tackles with three sacks and two fumble recoveries to repeat as an all-state first team linebacker.  He has been named first team all-Lewis and Clark Conference as both a running back and linebacker the past three seasons.  Bell has been a member of the KRES All-Star Team the past three years and was named to the KMZU Dream Team following his junior and senior seasons.  Bell was instrumental in helping Marceline break an eight-year drought in their “Bell Game” with Brookfield HS his junior year and defended the trophy at Brookfield his senior season with a 6-0 win.  He was also a state qualifier in wrestling and placed sixth as a freshman in the 215-pound weight class and helped his team to a third place finish his junior year.  Bell participated in both the pole vault and shot put on the school’s track team.
