High School: A team captain for Macon High School, Martie recorded over 240 tackles during his varsity career and gained over 1,000 career rushing yards. He was a four year varsity letterwinner and earned all-district honors as a linebacker for the Tigers. He was named the team’s biggest hitter award and was a member of the 1,000 pound club.
