Biography
2015 (Redshirt Freshman): Started the final six games and saw action in all 11 at quarterback…threw for a season-high 274 yards with 23 completions against Southwest Baptist on October 10, that game including the longest pass of the season, a 61-yard catch and run by Felix Neboh…completed 55% of his passes for 1,343 yards and was 4-2 as the starter…had touchdown passes in four games…a member of the GLVC All-Academic team.
2014 (Freshman): Redshirt season…member of the GLVC Academic All-Conference team.
High School: Selected to play in the National Underclassmen Combine All-American game as a high school senior…his team went 11-2 falling 26-21 in the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletics Association Division III title game…was an all-state and all-conference quarterback after guiding Southlake Christian to a school record 474 points (37.7/game) in 2012 while throwing for 3,587 yards and 32 touchdowns…had a completion percentage of over 66%...a three-year varsity starter, three-time all-conference honoree and two-time all-state selection…was a member of the Beta Club…received the Congressional Award Gold Medal for outstanding youth service volunteering over 400 hours and co-starting Ghana Rock, which raised over $150,000 to help orphaned children in Ghana.
