Rosenquist started the past three years on the varsity team at Newton and was a first-team all-District honoree. He broke school records in tackles for loss in a season with 22 and career with 33. He had single game records of four TFLs and season record with six quarterback sacks. He had 55 total tackles as a senior and on the offensive side of the ball had 665 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. Rosenquist is a member of the National Honor Society and was an all-District Academic team member.
