Biography
2025: Named CSC Academic All-District. Goehl started all 12 games, recording 62 total tackles (35 solo, 27 assists) with 7.5 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, 2 quarterback hurries, 5 pass breakups, and 1 fumble recovery.
2023: Played in all 11 games as a redshirt freshman and recorded 14 total tackles with 10 solo stops…had tackles in seven games with a high of three in games against South Dakota Mines, McKendree and Upper Iowa…a member of the Academic All-GLVC honor roll.
2022: Freshman squad member, redshirt season…named to the Academic All-GLVC squad and earned James Gaffney honor roll with a 4.0 GPA during academic year.
High School: Goehl broke Highland school records in rushing touchdowns for a season and total points scored in both a season and a career. He was a two-time all-state, all-district and all-conference honoree. As a track athlete, his 4x100 relay team finished second at state during his junior year and as an individual was sixth in both the 300m hurdles and 110m hurdles. Goehl has been selected for the National Honor Society and was both an Academic all-State and all-conference.
