Biography
2015 (Junior): Averaged 3.9 tackles per game (43 in 11 starts)…had a season-high 10 tackles with eight solos and two tackles for loss in victory over Saint Joseph’s on November 7…had 16 of his 43 tackles in final two games of the season…was credited with two pass breakups.
2014 (Sophomore): Started all 10 games at cornerback…notched 40 total tackles…had an 87-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown against Indianapolis on October 18…it was the longest play from scrimmage by a Bulldog during the season and the second longest fumble return in Truman Football history…had single-game highs of seven tackles on three different occasions, Langston (September 13), Indianapolis (October 18) and Saint Joseph’s (November 15)…a GLVC Academic Honor Roll member.
2013 (Redshirt Freshman): Notched 40 total tackles with season-high eight in victory over William Penn (Iowa) on Sept. 21…played and started in all 11 games…had eight pass breakups and a fumble recovery…recovery came in victory over Missouri S&T on Oct. 26…named to the Academic All-GLVC squad.
2012 (Freshman): Redshirt Season…member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
High School: Fine was a two-time first team all-state choice after finishing his career at Fort Zumwalt West with 104 tackles, 12 interceptions and 22 pass breakups. He was a first-team all-metro pick as well as a two-time all-conference first team choice. Fine broke a school record as a junior with nine interceptions and had three pass breakups in a game.
