Truman State University Athletics

2023-24 (Graduate Season): Started 10 of 16 games before a season-ending injury…scored in double-figures in six games with a single-game high of 18 points on two different occasions…made 53-of-63 free throw attempts and had a game in which she made all 11 attempts against Missouri-St. Louis to match a school single-game record…earned the GLVC Council of President’s award for a career 3.5 grade-point average, named to the GLVC Gaffney award list for a 4.0 grade-point average for the academic year and was an Academic All-GLVC honoree.

Previous Schools: Tolson started her collegiate journey at GLVC member school William Jewell College where she was named to the 2020 GLVC All-Freshman team and started 30 of the 47 games for the Cardinals in two seasons. She averaged 10.1 points with 2.7 assists and 2.3 rebounds while knocking down 45 three-pointers. She transferred to Avila University in 2021-22 and earned all-conference honors in the KCAC while averaging 17.8 points per night and shooting 51.5% from the field. Last season, Tolson played and earned first team all-conference honors at Baker University and led the Wildcats in scoring with 14.8 points per game and a team-high 5.1 assists.  She has scored 1,422 points during her four seasons of collegiate basketball.

High School: Tolson was a four-time all-district selection in basketball at Trenton High School and was twice named the Player of the Year by KMZU and KKWK radio. She left the Bulldogs as the all-time leading scorer with 1,685 points and was ranked second in assists (408) and third in teams (290).  Her Trenton program went 101-14 in her four seasons with a second and fourth place state finish.
